Kentia Palms do not tolerate severe dryness or continual over watering. They prefer to be lightly moist. Allow the top 1 to 2 inches of soil to dry before watering. If tips turn brown, or fronds are droopy, you are probably not watering enough. If the leaf tips are yellowing and then becoming brown, you may be over-watering. It is hard to say with out seeing the plant. Make an appointment with an interior landscape technician for an accurate diagnosis. The Kentia palm prefers bright, indirect light but will also tolerate lower light levels. Pests are usually not a problem with this house plant.
